— Reliability hardening
Improved
  • Stronger safeguards around currency conversion. If exchange rates can't be reached, the assistant and your pinned charts now stop and tell you, rather than continuing with amounts that haven't been converted yet. On a multi-currency ledger, a clear message is worth more than a number you can't fully trust.
  • One slow or failed piece of data no longer empties the whole page. If payee names, category labels, or budget scope labels don't load, everything else still renders — you see a partial view instead of a blank one.
  • Extra protection when setting an account balance. The opening-balance adjustment now confirms it can read the account's complete transaction history before it saves anything, instead of proceeding on a partial read.

  • More ways to bring your own AI key. OpenRouter and DeepSeek join Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic as supported providers, with a model picker for each. Especially useful in regions where OpenAI and Anthropic keys aren't available.
  • A redesigned homepage. A cleaner, faster moneyhome.app: the AI chat demo front and center, real product screenshots, crisper typography matching the app, and clearer plan comparison. Same privacy promises, easier to read.
Fixed
  • Your own AI key now works reliably. Fixed an error some people hit when using their own Gemini key. You can now test a key right in Settings, see a confirmation that it saved, and see which provider is active (hosted vs your own key).
  • The "Ask your money" button no longer covers other buttons. On some screens the floating assistant button could sit on top of a bottom-right control (like Save on a custom report) — it now stays clear.

  • Launch intro video on the landing page. A 41-second narrated walkthrough — with music and real device mockups — you can watch right from the homepage, with a poster frame that loads instantly and the video itself only fetched when you hit play.
  • Bring your own AI key. Point the assistant at your own Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic account from Settings. Your key stays on your device, and your questions go only to your provider — unlimited use, maximum privacy.
  • Build your own reports. A custom report builder in Reports: pick what to group by (category, payee, account, or month), filter by date, account, or type, choose bar, line, donut, or table — then save it for one-click reuse, or pin it to your dashboard.
  • Sign in with an email link. Alongside Google, you can now sign in with a magic link sent to your email — no password, nothing to remember.
  • Privacy Policy and Terms pages, written in plain language.

  • A refreshed brand mark across the app icon, home screen, and browser tab — a cleaner, flatter emerald logo.
  • Light and dark themes on the homepage — it follows your system setting, with a manual toggle to switch.
Fixed
  • Pinned dashboard charts follow your base currency. Change currency in Settings and pinned charts re-render in the new one.

  • The AI assistant now follows your base currency. Change your currency in Settings and the assistant's answers convert and summarize in the new one.
  • Clearer CSV import. A built-in format guide (supported columns, date/amount formats, and an example file), plus friendly checks that catch oversized or non-CSV files instead of failing silently.
  • Sign out from Settings. The Profile section now has a proper Sign Out button.
Fixed
  • More reliable data export. Every field is now correctly escaped (so account names with commas can't corrupt the file), and split transactions are fully included.
  • Removed a stale, no-op "Auto-Sync" setting. Your data always saves automatically — the toggle did nothing and is gone.
  • A brief loading issue that could leave the app looking empty on sign-in no longer occurs, and a single slow data source can no longer blank the whole screen.

  • Import from any CSV. Bring your history in from your bank, another app, or a spreadsheet — map your columns once, preview the result, and import. Duplicate rows are skipped and transfers are matched for you.
  • Payees and categories you control. Manage your own payee list and a full category tree, and add new ones on the fly while entering a transaction. New accounts now start with a sensible default set of categories.
  • Full account management. Rename an account, edit its details, change its type (within safe limits), or remove one you no longer need.
  • Set opening balances. Give an account its true starting balance so your net worth reflects reality from day one.
Improved
  • Built for phones and tablets. Screens that used to overflow on small displays now reflow cleanly, and Settings is reachable from the mobile navigation.
  • Cleaner transaction actions. The action bar that appears when you tap a transaction now matches the rest of the app.
  • Easier report navigation. A Back button when you drill into a chart or a payee.
  • Consistent branding across every screen.
Fixed
  • Scheduled transactions recur on the right date — a yearly bill no longer slips by a month — and cadence labels now read naturally ("Monthly", "Every 3 months").
  • The "+" button above the account list now works.
  • The dashboard cash figure and the Cashflow Forecast always agree.
