The service
MoneyHome is a personal finance app: you track accounts and transactions you enter yourself or import from a CSV file, view reports and net worth, and optionally chat with a built-in AI assistant about your own data. We don't connect to your bank and never ask for bank credentials.
Early access / beta
MoneyHome is in early access. Features are actively changing, things may break, and we may add, change, or remove functionality without much notice. Back up anything important with the CSV export in Settings. We'll do our best to keep your data intact and give notice before anything disruptive, but we can't guarantee zero downtime or zero bugs at this stage.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method (Google account or the email address you use for magic links) secure.
- You must be old enough in your jurisdiction to enter into these terms, and the data you add should be your own or data you're authorized to manage.
- Access during early access may be invite-only or otherwise limited at our discretion while we onboard users gradually.
Acceptable use
Use MoneyHome for its intended purpose: tracking and understanding your own personal finances. Please don't:
- Try to access another user's data or bypass the app's security or rate limits.
- Upload malicious files, or use CSV import / the AI chat to attempt to attack, disrupt, or extract data from the service.
- Use the service for anything illegal, or resell/rebrand it without our written permission.
- Reverse-engineer the app to build a competing service using our code or infrastructure.
Not financial advice
MoneyHome's AI assistant is informational only. It summarizes and answers questions about the data you put into the app — it does not know your full financial picture, does not access real-time markets on your behalf, and is not a licensed financial advisor. Nothing the assistant (or any other part of the app) says is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice, and you shouldn't treat it as a substitute for professional advice before making financial decisions. AI-generated answers can be wrong or incomplete; always sanity-check anything before acting on it.
Pricing and purchases
MoneyHome is currently free to use during early access. The pricing shown on our website (Free, Premium, Founding Supporter) describes plans we intend to offer at general launch. You are not charged anything by joining the waitlist or using the app today. If and when paid plans go live, the specific price, billing terms, and any founder-rate lock-in that applies to you will be confirmed and agreed to at the time of purchase (e.g. via our payment provider's checkout flow) — the current pricing page is informational and not a binding offer or contract.
Your data and content
You own the financial data you put into MoneyHome. We don't claim ownership over it, and we don't sell it or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for how it's stored, used with AI features, and how to export or delete it.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MoneyHome is provided "as is" during early access, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoneyHome and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including financial decisions made using information from the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves, especially as we move from early access toward general availability and paid plans. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll try to notify signed-in users directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
